We would like to congratulate Mr Kushith Amerasinghe who is the winner of the logo competition that was held to select a logo for the foss.lk site. His winning entry was a very simple but polished one. He received an iPod nano and an entrance pass to attend the ApacheCon Asia for free.
The Sri Lankan FOSS community actively promotes the adoption and awareness of FOSS, targeting a wide spectrum of users. In order to effectively take our mission further, we are having a competition to design the perfect logo for foss.lk.
A sleek iPOD nano is up for grabs, if your logo is the winning entry and used as the official logo. Please keep in mind that the logo will used in all our event material including, but not limited to; the foss.lk web site, brouchures, banners, T-shirts etc.
Please email your entries to [email protected] on or before July 17, 2006, in one of the following formats – png, jpg. All submissons should be sent at two resolutions – 800×800 and 100×100.
